We create ideal working conditions for our employees and their professional growth as well as welcoming employees with higher degrees of disability. We are able to adjust both working hours and working environment according to their needs. Thanks to the training courses provided by the educational centre Ergoeduka, they can grow professionally and become invaluable experts. In addition we also support our colleagues outside of work too, by providing transport as well as personal assistance, physical rehabilitation and help with special diets.
We motivate young disabled people to find work and to fulfil their dreams. We offer placements to students, so they can see for themselves how a social enterprise functions. During these placements they also attend training courses and workshops, to learn what social entrepreneurship actually means and how they themselves could become active in this field. We also help graduates to find their future jobs through internal traineeships.
In our new educational centre we teach companies how to succeed in the area of social entrepreneurship and how they can fulfil their social responsibility. We invite the general public to courses which combine entertainment and education into a pleasant afternoon. What we train, we ourselves use in practice. For the second time we will stage The International Forum of Social Entrepreneurship, a meeting of professionals and interested authorities from the Czech Republic and from other European countries for sharing experience in the social entrepreneurship field.
Ergotep has developed its own innovative philosophy for approaching integrational social entrepreneurship. This product, which we call "social entrepreneurship proceeding" was established by Ergotep and is implemented by the civic association Neratov and DVOT Otradov Ltd. Training and consultation are offered at the social entrepreneurship consultation centre in Prague and at the educational centre Ergoeduka.

Ergotep has launched and applies integrational social entrepreneurship tools and principles and also undertakes other social roles. Four milestones highlight how the drive to develop staff and acquire new business has impacted on our effectiveness in terms of integrated social entrepreneurship.
Like most employers with more than 50% of its employees being disabled, Ergotep, the cooperative of disabled people, only fulfilled one social function at the beginning, that of simply employing disabled people. Nowadays it is increasing not only the number of disabled employees, but also the quality of their jobs, which in turn raises the company’s overall turnover.
We are a company based in the picturesque town of Proseč. Our business is varied and we are involved in various projects, be it social or commercial. We started in a small boiler room with assembly work and 4 employees. Today we are a steadily growing company that is getting stronger every year. We have grown from a family business to a company that employs over 300 people, 85% of whom are people with disabilities.
We are addressing the issue of social responsibility. We educate companies and the public about the social sector. We know that the quality of our work is created by the employees themselves and we are duly proud of them!
